One of the main barriers was noncompliance. Noncompliance is not an issue that is specific to Grenada, as it is something we see often in America as well. Noncompliance can only be overcome with teaching and reinforcement.To the left is a photo of another student and I educating some patients at the disability center about nutrition. We also got the chance to educate patients on the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, menopause, puberty, and prostate cancer. Through these experiences, I was able to learn what a large part of nursing education plays. My classmates and I put together a few pamphlets to distribute while we were educating patients, and I have attached them below.
